Lindon Parbery has been part of the RBL team for a little while now, and while some of our clients may have already had the opportunity to meet or work with him, we thought it was time for a proper introduction.
Lindon brings a strong interest in the intersection between law, business and technology. He has a particular interest in how emerging technologies are changing both the legal profession and the businesses we work with every day.
Alongside his legal experience, Lindon has undertaken postgraduate study in legal technology at Monash University, where he was recognised as the top student in Artificial Intelligence and the Law. He has also worked in the AI space with the Australian Federal Police, contributing to AI policy and implementation. This experience has given him valuable insight into the practical, legal and governance considerations surrounding the responsible use of AI – an increasingly important area for both the legal profession and the businesses we advise.
Lindon brings a considered and practical approach to his work, taking the time to understand the issue at hand and how it fits within the bigger commercial picture.
Outside the office, Lindon enjoys poker – perhaps not surprising for someone who enjoys strategy, weighing up the information in front of him and knowing when to play his hand.
We’re very pleased to have Lindon as part of the Rankin team and look forward to many of our clients getting to know him over the coming months.
