Co-founded by Damon Gameau from That Sugar Film, Future Council Ltd is a non-profit organisation that works to involve and empower children in sustainability and regenerative projects.
Future Council Ltd is a globally connected community of young people aged between 9 and 16. It is a child-led organisation whose co-founders include young people from across the world – including Australia – and its mission is to design the future and to do it with “creativity, courage, and lots of fun.”
Future Council Ltd’s mission is to empower youth to take climate action by providing a platform to share trusted knowledge, create clear paths for change, and directly advise companies on sustainable practices. It connects young people with businesses to co-design regenerative products and solutions, and lobbies governments on climate-related issues.
All funds generated by Future Council Ltd are reinvested directly in environmental repair projects.
Rankin Business Lawyers was proud to join the Future Council Ltd project at its inception, and has helped on a pro bono basis in several ways, including helping to establish the organisation, providing support for its not-for-profit work, and undertaking its legal work at no charge.
